Three Generations. One Family. A Tradition of Service

Our story began in 1954, when Arnold Joers started a flooring business in South Bend with a simple belief: Take care of your customers, stand behind your work, and be part of the community you serve.

That belief has been passed down through three generations of the Joers family. Arnold’s son, Ron, returned to the area years later, and eventually grandson, Chip, joined the business, continuing a family tradition built on service, integrity, and community.

Over the years, we’ve called five different locations home. Our first storefront was in downtown South Bend, at the corner of E. Colfax and Hill Street. Today, you’ll find us at the corner of Grape & Day Road in Mishawaka; a 25,000 square foot showroom and warehouse filled with carpet, hardwood, luxury vinyl, tile, & laminate flooring to fit every style, space, and budget.

We’re proud to work with homeowners, builders, and property management companies throughout the greater South Bend–Mishawaka-Elkhart area. Whether you’re updating one room, building a new home, or managing multiple properties, our goal is the same: Make the flooring process personal, straightforward, and easy!

A lot has changed since 1954. Flooring styles have evolved, technology has changed, and our location has grown—but one thing hasn’t changed: our dedication to serving our customers and our community.
